Singing with Nightingales
Each spring, Sam Lee’s Singing with Nightingales leads a small audience into the woods after dark: fireside food, songs and stories, followed by a silent walk to meet a singing nightingale — and a concert like no other, as the evening’s musicians join the bird in an improvised duet.
Marie-Kell appeared as a guest musician on violin in May 2026 in Sussex, UK. With only a few dozen guests per night and the nightingale’s UK habitat under severe threat, the series is as much an act of conservation awareness as it is a concert.
