Marie-Kell (MK) is a violinist and marine biologist whose work sits at the intersection of science and music.
Drawing on her dual passions, she uses sound as a medium to narrate the story of the ocean, translating the complexity and beauty of marine life into musical experience. Often performing from the deck of a sailboat, she brings her art directly to the natural world that inspires it — the sea. Whether at sea or on land, she creates performances that speak to the deep interconnectedness of all living things, inviting audiences to feel, not just understand, the fragility and wonder of ocean ecosystems.
